The Committee

The committee is responsible for the general management of the club and oversees the activities of the club operations panel.

Additional Roles

In addition to fulfilling the roles of their elected positions, all Melbourne Soaring committee members take on additional roles to ensure that the club continues to operate in a safe manner, meets its Gliding Australia obligations and is represented on airfield management groups with the other airport stakeholders.

Sub Committees are established as required to manage projects and administer plans of action. These will usually comprise at least one committee member plus club members with the appropriate knowledge and skill set.
